Organized Transitions With Jill, LLC understands that most of our clients are older adults and/or those with chronic medical conditions who may be at higher risk for contracting severe illness due to the COVID 19 Pandemic. We pledge to do everything possible to comply with the recommendations of the CDC, State of California and Orange County Health Departments to prevent the spread of illness and keep our clients and employees safe and healthy. Senior Move Manager Jill Nogle has completed the NASMM COVID 19 Certificate in Prevention & Safety Excellence.

According to the recommendations of the CDC, State of California and Orange County Health Departments, following are strategies for Organized Transitions With Jill, LLC employees, contracted vendors and independent contractors:

Wellness Checks

  • Employees will complete a daily health/wellness checklist and take their temperature before leaving for a job. Vendors/independent contractors will be asked to complete the checklist prior to entering the jobsite.

  • Employees/vendors who have symptoms of acute respiratory illness must stay home and not come to work until they are free of fever (99° F or greater using an oral thermometer), signs of a fever, and any other symptoms for at least 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing or other symptom-altering medicines (e.g. cough suppressants).

  • Employees with a family member at home who has or may have symptoms of COVID 19 must self-quarantine for 14 days following the diagnosis, and follow all protocols listed above when returning to work.

  • All clients will be asked to complete a health/wellness questionnaire before work can be started.

Mandatory Wearing of Masks & Hand Hygiene

  • Employees must wear personal protective equipment including masks covering the mouth and nose when in the presence of a client. Vendors/independent contractors will also be asked to follow these guidelines.

  • Employees must clean their hands often with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer or wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Soap and water should be used preferentially if hands are visibly dirty.

  • We will provide alcohol-based disinfecting wipes in the clients’ residence/ workplace and maintain an adequate supply of hand sanitizer. Clients are welcome and encouraged to use our supplies.

  • Cell phones should be regularly disinfected with alcohol-based disinfecting wipes.

  • No personal items (purses, bags) should be brought into the job site.

Social Distancing & Routine Environmental Cleaning

  • Maintain at least six (6) feet between client & employee whenever possible

  • Use no-touch payment processing (electronic invoicing) when possible

  • Email contracts and estimates to the client when possible

  • Using disinfectant wipes or sprays, routinely wipe down and disinfect all frequently touched surfaces in the residence/workplace, including but not limited to supply bags, wagons, tools, dollys, countertops, light switches, faucets and doorknobs

  • Provide disposable wipes and hand sanitizer to employees, vendors & clients

  • Use sanitizing wipes when entering and leaving client residence

Senior Living Community Policies

  • Organized Transitions With Jill LLC will contact senior living communities prior to scheduling move in/move out to determine if there are current cases of COVID-19, and reserves the right to choose not to perform services in communities where there are active cases.

  • Ideally, clients should not be present during move in/move out. If this is not possible, clients should not be in the same room where services are being performed.

  • Employees will not interact/minimize interaction with building staff or other residents, and may require the community to sanitize the apartment before services can be performed. We will ask the community to unlock the apartment before the team arrives.
